Butcher

This is the controversial "butcher" cover originally used on The Beatles album Yesterday and Today. The album was released in the US in 1966, but was never issued in the UK. The story about how the cover was withdrawn, how much the original cover can fetch at auction, and what replaced it is on Wikipedia.

I never expected to see one of these in real life, but it was issueed last month in the U.S. Albums CD box set. The original sleeve in the box comes with a loose sticker printed with the replacement "trunk" cover art. Offended buyers can use the sticker to cover the photo.
