Missing him already...

Elder son and occasional blipper Huw has been living at home for the past 18 months. Now he's off to Manchester to start a TEFL course which he hopes will lead to opportunities for travel.

Packing involves difficult decisions as to what from his huge collection of spices and ingredients for Chinese, Indian and south-east Asian food he will take with him.

It's not only his cooking and baking that I'll miss but also his beady eye on current events, his computer skills and his mischievous sense of humour. But I am lucky in having another lovely son who remains based at home for the time being.

It's been a hectic weekend and in addition I have a bad cold, therefore I have had neither time nor energy to keep abreast of Blip activity - apologies
