Winter Aconite

Practising with the macro lens for my iPhone but still hand-held. I've ordered a Gorillapod (!) but I'll not get my mits on it till tomorrow :-). Even hand-held though you can still see the specks of dirt in one of the raindrops.

These are one of my favourite flowers at this time of the year. They're small but really bright and I do like the ruff of green at the base of the flower.
