My life in a day?

Health and safety?

Miserable gloomy day today, the weather's not much better so here is some guidance from Ikea.

Small wooden two-step step stool.
No, it's not a dancing stool, that would be great fun.

It is a step stool with two steps and these are the operating instructions.

Max weight, makes sense.

Don't prop up at an angle with books, ditto. Though this instruction in conjunction with don't use on a hill would level it out. Besides this is book abuse, doubly so if you put books under all legs.

Don't use as stepping stones or in the rain and snow, some areas that could be hard to avoid at the moment.

Not sure why we have to focus the sun onto it with a giant comedy nagnifying glass, it's made of wood and that might be a fire risk.

Not hurling yourself out of the windows sounds sensible.

But why are we forbidden to paint it? I feel that my human right to paint wooden furniture is being violated.

Who do these Swedes think they are coming here with their well designed, useful, modestly priced but weirdly named furniture?
