Make hay while the sun shines or...

... take photos of jacaranda trees while they are still in bloom. I never knew I was interested in flowers. Apologies for those bored by another flower blip.

Remember remember the fifth of November. Not many remember here in Australia, they used to celebrate, but in seventies the fireworks were banned and anybody who uses them needs to have a licence. So 30 year olds and younger never heard of the bonfire night. A few fingers have been saved. On the other hand (boom, boom) there is no reason for them to celebrate attempted terrorist attack on some foreign parliment. I like Polish bonfires, in summer, without a reason, just on campsites, or in big back gardens, with sausages on long sticks and potatoes in the ashes, watching the flames, the stars, listening to a guitar, and maybe even singing some old partisan songs.
