A grand day out

Today we went to see Maria, who has recently moved to Lancashire.
We went out for lunch to Downham, which is where the film 'Whistle Down the Wind' was filmed in 1961!
It is a lovely village, completely un spoilt with traditional architecture and a stream running through the centre.
The men's toilets were worth a look too when there was no one around as they are just fitted within an old stable!
