...on this wintry wishbone

we used to do that as kids - growing up - almost could be guaranteed to fight over it - there were so many of us - who'd get the wishbone - to be able to make the "wish" - did you do that?

woke up to a fog-filled world today - trees and bushes covered in a snow white icy frosting - that wonderful layer of magic - which creates frosty wonderment - where you see cold fingers of ice water turned into white snow - that glows in a haze over the land - causing you to stomp your feet to remain warm - blink your eyes against the bite of wind - but you're suspended with the beauty of white - everywhere - so make a wish - and hope it comes true - for it's in the making that leads to...
