St Andrews Beach

On the busy train on the way to St Andrews (day after Scotland vs. England game so lots of mostly upset people on their way back after an evening in Edinburgh), it struck me as strange as people complained about the lack of seats after experiencing the joys of travelling in buses in Central America during the summer. The old buses or 'Chicken Busses' had every available space occupied and even enough room for vendors to squeeze through. Oh and combined with the heat (and lack of air conditioning) it made for a wonderful 3-7 hour journey. So really the one hour journey on a crowded ScotRail train didn't feel like much of a hardship!

Anyway - St Andrews. Made a spontaneous trip to visit my brother with my family and a bit of relaxation after a busy week at university. Nice Tapas lunch at St Andrews brewery and a walk on the beautiful beach on a sunny(ish) winter day - though had to put up with cold hands to take photos in the winter temperatures!

Corrie certainly enjoyed herself on a rare trip to her favourite location!
