A Monkey's Tale

You Can See Some Weird Things When You're In Devon

Like a cow hugging a frog, or sisters sitting quietly & happy together (a couple of seconds do count, before the Nerf guns are whipped out!)

Lauren & Susannah kindly agreed to model their home-knitted woolly animal hats which Jenny made them both for Christmas, With Love. They're such super, intelligent, lovely girls.

As well as this peaceful scene, it was an all round delightful Sunday (just as it should be). This included watching the Princes Bride (staple viewing at the Benson's), more knitting for Jenny, doing jigsaws, avoiding Lauren's cold, & enjoying their company. Later on Jenny & I headed to our friends, Kelly & Dickie's new house for a gathering & a superb Sunday roast beef. Clare & Mark, minus the kids, & Emma & John joined us too. We had an absolute hoot & we all on the verge of hysterics throughout. Great evening to top off a lovely weekend in the South West.

We even had time for a tall gin & tonic (pint glass tall), a la Alan, before bed & a game of Guess Who to boot.
