Cake!

My talented daughter had baked and iced a cake for Stella's 1st birthday, in the shape of a star of course. Here is the star herself having a go at blowing out a birthday candle for the first time! Today was a celebration party for the adults. Party number 2 will be later in the week, a double celebration alongside her little friend Jake who will soon be one, and some other mummies and babies from the baby group. Unfortunately Grandad and I will be home long before then, so we made the most of this day's event.
