Gnarly..

..old horsechestnut tree.
This beautiful old tree is on the bank at Grendon Lakes near Castle Ashby - the location for our Nordic walk this afternoon. I ducked out of the morning walk because it was peeing down with freezing cold rain and I wanted to watch the ladies ski slopestyle finals! Katie Summerhayes came 6th in the end - her qualifying run was awesome but the conditions weren't good for the finals - lots of fallers.
I'm still having problems with signal so I'm currently outside the cinema at Sixfields where the 3G is good before going home! :-)
