Joseph's Amazing Technicolour Dream Coat

staring my kids............................................................................

Well how much can you cram into one day.

Weather this morning raining cats and dogs and blowing a gale. Decided to revisit the hide in Manby. Some bird life but so far away it was quite difficult to get any shots. Returned home after about an hour to a very sad looking Charlie who was sulking because we hadn't taken him with us. A quick turn around and Charlie was on his favourite beach, by now the rain was getting harder and colder. By the time we were back in the car it was sleeting and this soon turned to snow. We did get a few pics, mainly of Brent geese flying away as they heard both Charlie and I on the beach path.

After the lunch the sun came out and the weather was really bright,, so another trip for Charlie to Saltfleet Haven and a walk we have never done before from the Haven to Saltfleet itself. It was stunning. Charlie in typical dog style and in protest about the bath I had made him take, rolled and ground his body into the sand and the skeleton of a large fish. Not to up on marine mammals but the size of it, and the remains of the large tail, led me to believe it could have been a dolphin or porpoise, we have had reports of many different species of animals being washed up after the tidal serge. We spent a wonderful couple of hours out there on the beach. It was difficult to believe that a few hours earlier it had been snowing, but to act as a reminder the snow was still lying in the shade of the dunes.

The evening was spent with Lou who had been so ill a few weeks ago, watching two more of my girls in the role of "adoring girls" in the school performance of "Joseph and his Amazing Technicolour Dream Coat. Todays Blip is of Amy and Paige having their buns nibbled (that sounds a bit naughty lol) by the curious camels on the set. Hope you all like it.
