I spotted this wonderful heron from a distance, obviously intent on something, so I crept forward slowly for several minutes with camera in hand, thrilled that it didn't move when I got close, took a snap then realised it was a statue. There were probably several titters coming from behind me but I didn't hang around to find out. I'll add that to the recently growing list of senior moments!
