Flood defences!

At last we have some flood defences, put up last night. These tubes are filled with water - we are fighting water with water!

Combined with pumping this means the main road is open to outbound traffic and hopefully soon open both ways. Now we just have to hope we don't get too much of a deluge over the coming week….
