The Year of the Horse

Yes, should have used this title and photo on the first day of the Chinese Spring Festival but it is never too late to celebrate. I'll go to the Institute of Education, University of London soon to attend their Spring Festival celebration today.

And this is a colour ink painting by my father. He used Chinese writing brush to draw the folding fan. He has done so with a great variety of themes, such as gold fish, bamboo, pine tree, crane, tiger, birds, etc. - a shame that I've never learned how to make it. By the way, he also assembled the folding fan - put the paper on the bamboo bones himself. He has the talent!
