Darlin' Companion

by Lovin' Spoonful

Had a 12 km skiing tour today flexing the muscles after yesterday's strains. Stopped at a hut to drink juice sold by and to eat crepes fried by a lady in a tent-shaped hut beside the skiing track. That location was also habited by five Siberian Jays (Perisoreus Infaustus). This was my best shot of one - I could not wait longer for a better capture as my skiing companions wanted to continue skiing because the wind was quite cold.

The song came to mind as these birds are also called forest man's (lumberjack, forest hiker) companions.
