At the cliffs

CMC has gone to Hoy today so I carried on across to Yesnaby with Ken. Very sunny early today but endless layers of gortex, or any kind of 'intelligent' membrane, could not keep out the bitterly cold wind.

These cliffs provide a spectacular 12 mile walk, delightful on a summer's day in July.

I am once again in charge of catering. CMC left instruction for the tea to be ready on time as she's going with Kathleen tonight to see 'Cats' in the new theatre in Kirkwall. I'm away to leaf though the recipe books......
