Filming in the rain

Second day of BBC visit.

The FSB has reported that the number of women running and owning small businesses has increased dramatically over the last 20 yrs. The BBC news Home economic editor Mark Easton came up to Helmsley to research this.

Yesterday he interviewed several business owners and was filmed in our shop buying sweets. Today they hired a cheery picker to do some overhead shots - sadly it sleeted so we all got very wet and cold.

However it was a great experience to see how professional the BBC are.

Fingers crossed the report will be shown on the BBC 6pm and 10 pm news tomorrow. There were local press there too.

ps - we are right at the top right hiding behind our shop name!
