Artsy Fartsy

Today was Poppy's first parent and teacher meeting and what a delight it was! We are truly pleased with her progress, the best bit for me was learning that she's 'register monitor'! That was always the coveted position when I was in primary school - how exciting?!

After the meeting we got to peruse an art gallery filled with the pupils' paintings, collages and drawings of Fleetwood and it's landmarks. There were some awesome works of art there, Poppy's was, of course, the best ;0)... We purchased the above masterpiece (pricey it was too!) and it now has pride of place in our lounge.
