Compensation not needed

A very kind neighbour brought this pretty primula to us. "I thought you would be sad at losing that tree" she said! She was surprised when she heard that we had asked for the very intrusive leylandi to be cut down and were delighted with the result! We showed her our much improved view and she agreed with us. She insisted we kept the primula, even though the reason for the gift wasn't valid!
