A Windy Day

Ovenden Moor Wind Farm - Halifax
Built in 1993 at a cost of £10.6m these 23 turbines make Ovenden Moor one of the largest wind farms in the UK. Situated 440 metres (just over 1,300 ft) above sea level on Hollin Hill, the turbines are set out in a V shape to make best use of the prevailing south-westerly wind.
These are the only things that could make any use of today's winds - and even half of them were stationary - probably because the wind was too strong :-(
I'm no fan (no pun intended).
