Seal

I walked from the Pool of Cletts along to and around Grim Ness in soth Ronaldsay today. Bright sun all the way. I imagine the Grim in the above placename was a viking who farmed the site because it it not a grim place.

Walking along The Grud near Smalltails I passed with about ten feet of this seal without seeing her, my eyes directed seaward. A couple walking their two collies pointed her out and I got a couple of photos without, I think, bothering her. I find that if you whistle to them it piques their curiosity.
