Floods and play

The rains would just not let up today, it thundered down all morning then had a break for a few hours in the afternoon while we explored and played at the park and flooded field then it started hammering down again this evening.

The channels of water running through the field have now just reached the edge of our estate and are busy filling up the grids, it's a bit of a scary scene and the first house nearest the field has been sandbagged.

I really hope this rain stops soon, feels a bit like Armageddon watching and listening to the news reports up and down the country.
