Sweet Bribery?

One of the sales rep stopped by the lab today, with a box of doughnuts. It's common practice in this field to "sweeten" a deal and please customers with little gifts.
I don't eat doughnuts but my colleagues enjoyed them, and so did the postman, a Fedex delivery guy, and even the repair guy.
Spread a little of early Valentine's love, one doughnut at the time.
