Tulip.

With a gale raging outside and torrential rain, apart from a quick visit to the garden to make a temporary repair to a fence it seemed prudent to stay safe indoors for the day.

After a long wait after placing the order the postman delivered a Novoflex adaptor to enable Nikon lenses to be used on the SonyA7R so the afternoon was spent trying out my Voightlander and Nikon prime lenses all of which seemed to work well, no autofocus of course.

For todays blip I used the Nikon 105mm. Macro to make some abstracts of a vase of tulips. I found focussing using the focus peaking and magnification features much easier than the D800.

And I do realise the irony of using a 36mp camera to make blurry pictures.

Looking forward to testing the camera on landscapes if the conditions improve. The D800 body may soon be up for sale.
