Detail.

This embroidery is going to be part of the detail of a quilt project I've started.

I couple of days ago I found a good rucksack in a charity shop. Since I already have several rucksacks I had to go through a justification process before I would let myself buy it. You can only buy it if you throw out an equivalent rucksack, which means that this is not a new sack but an upgrade. So will it serve the purpose and is it worth the money? The answer to both questions was yes. So yesterday I took the old rucksack up to the charity shop and handed it in.

This morning I saw it full of shopping on someone's back in Leith Walk.

Now that is recycling.
