A Swathe of Snowdrops

No real snow yet in our part of the world, sadly, but masses of snowdrops. We spotted these on our return from lunch at Betty's at RHS Harlow Carr. Tony suggested a Valentine's lunch and I didn't want to spoil it by telling him he'd got the wrong day!

We woke this morning after the night of high winds to find the bird feeders fastened together in a heap in the tree - the birds were still managing to access them!

I've also been in to school for the Year 11 Parents Evening which was very busy. Several of my old students called in with their younger siblings and it was good to catch up. I also had the inevitable, 'You taught my mum!' At least it's not yet, 'You taught my granddad!'
