AOG Judging

It was an interesting day at the Ridgefield venue of Debbi's Alternative Olympic Games. The Great Blue Herons did a good job of judging and quite a few contestants showed up for their events including Team Coot who had a strong showing in the team paddling event. Except for Charlie, who got distracted by his own ripples. But, he is to be forgiven as he is an old coot, after all.

Team Northern Pintail was ready for the Ladies Combined Duck Walk, but got distracted looking at the male Pintails and their very handsome uniforms. The official for that event disqualified them for being late, so the ladies left in a snit. I think they wandered over to have a chat with the boys.

The Canada Goose team did a great flyby before their Synchronized Landing event, but learning that their judge had fallen asleep , they had to do it over and that led to all sorts of squawking. Well, you know how those geese are.

Apologies for the poor quality of photos at the AOG today. Tomorrow promises to be a very wet day, so we will see if the events are rained out or if something exciting will happen.

I am enjoying everyone's Olympic coverage. Good job people!
