Roofs

I love my little higgledy piggledy town; Hebden Bridge. Walking up from the centre, I look back and see all the roofs. The way there aren't any straight lines, the roofs dip in the middle - a sad sag suggesting sleepless nights. In other towns corners and straight lines define them. In Hebden it's all about the narrow alleys, the hidden paths, the secret cobbles. Every walkway takes you on a new adventure, and as the people come and go, Hebden lingers.
