Valentine buns

It's a funny old day - helped my friend with some more cleaning. She's off to Ladakh in a few days and I won't see her again now for a year. I wonder what adventures we'll both have in that time...

Another friend came round to help and gave me these valentine buns she'd made. Looks like a mouse took a bite out of one of them. Funny how that happens.

Just seen Lizzy Yarnold get a gold medal for team GB in the Winter Olympics. Crazy sport, the skeleton - hurtling down an ice slope at over 80 miles an hour, your face two inches from the ice. But well done her.
