Splash

This morning we met the South American Continental shelf, waterdepths were decreasing very rapidly, from 3000 m to 48 m within 500 meters. What we expected to see in the deep waters of the ocean, happened on shallow water; whales. Plenty of them. We changed heading to come closer when two of them were jumping completely out of the water. I had the chance to get a full frame picture of one of them, but my telezoom was just too slow. Instead of the mother of all Whale pictures, I had the mother of all splashes. The whales had a lot of companion and this playing dolphin was a little bit easier to catch
