This may be a good (yet unfortunate) lesson in why you shouldn't cast on a new project at 1:30 am.
I thought the pattern said to cast on 48 stitches.
As I started the thumb gusset I realize it said 43 stitches.
Oops!!
Ah well…it is only 3 inches of knitting…not the end of the world….
and the colours are so pretty it'll be a pleasure to knit them again:)
