Beaitiful day tpday, the girls won at football against a boys' team, so they were all delighted.

Back home then off to the allotment, weeded a plot and covered it in fallen leaves to keep the soil warm.

Came home and Eco daughter handed me an envelope from school addressed to 'To the dad who made the jam which was sold at the parents' evening.'

Inside was a wee letter saying how much their family had enjoyed the apple and pear jelly and could they buy more. Really nice of them.
