Another Inch of Water

Trapped in doors all day by the latest storm I almost forgot to take a blipfoto, so just as it was getting dark I popped into the garden to take a snap of the rain gauge which was showing that 1 inch of rain had fallen in about 6 hours.

Tonight as the rain decreased the wind increased and I can now hear a mighty storm rattling the windows and howling like a Banshee. Not a time to be out and about.

There has just been a report of a 102mph. gust at the Needles. Here's hoping every one remains safe and sound.
