The Hub

I spent the afternoon here at our clinic rooms with my fantastic third year midwifery student at a booking visit followed by a meeting with a first year graduate Midwife I am mentoring.

This used to be the old dental rooms which are adjacent to a school which is now used as a community centre called The Hub. There are cooking classes, play groups, positive birth classes and 'The Breast Room' in the house which offers support for breast feeding mothers twice a week. Most of which are run by volunteers.

I love the vegetable garden that runs alongside the window of our rooms. So lovely to look out on during a busy clinic day.
