AOG - Aussies back in the Medal Hunt!

It's been a day of mixed emotions for the Aussie Team. With the final ruling coming in from the Disciplinary Committee to ban Lois and Lloyd from the Ice Dancing Event and return them to Australia on the first Qantas flight out of Sochi, a new Aussie "Dream Team" has emerged.

Although considered to be the dark horses in the Mixed Figure Skating the team of Gordon and Gloria Goose Geese have swept all before them in their run through to the Gold Medal round. The pair kept their routine under wraps until the final moments and surprised their competition with a flawless and focussed performance.
There's no doubt the pair were assisted by the new skating arena which passed inspection late yesterday afternoon with a full roll up of Board Members. The final inspection was carried out by at the Chairman of the Board - a very wise old owl Gang Gang.
