Stone circle

Well, a horseshoe of flints to be more precise, with holes in them, hanging on the door of the woodshed. This seems to continue the theme of circles that I started yesterday with a circle of heart shaped leaves.
So here is a song by a favourite singer songwriter Krystle Warren whom I saw a while back in Norwich, called "Circles"
HL used to collect these holey flints on the beaches hereabouts and I like the way they have slowly played host to a little garden of lichens.

I seem to have caught one of the few sunny spells of the day for my Blip photo. The windowpanes are now spattered with rain. All night the wind was raging. Here in East Anglia we have not yet suffered as severely from the extreme winds and monsoon conditions that have created such havoc and flood damage in the north and south west of England among other places. It must be an awful trial for those whose homes have been flooded.
