The immediacy of photography

This is another picture which is not technically perfect (camera phone, indoor, low light, kids that won't stand still), but again it's more about capturing the moment.

We went out for a pub lunch today, and (as he often does) my husband brought his camera and was taking photos of the kids. And as they often do as soon as they realised what he was doing the kids were peering over his shoulder looking at the pictures he'd just taken. Our kids are growing up in a world where photography is immediate - none of this having to wait until the film is finished and then leaving it at the chemists for a few days before you can see your pictures!
