A walk on the wild side

Hubby sprung a surprise overnight trip to Uist on me on Friday for Valentines! Went across on the late afternoon ferry, spent a wonderful night at Langass Lodge with a superb meal and then this morning we drove to my favourite Uist beach, Hosta.

The wind was very fresh, so much so that I had difficulty getting any pictures as I was constantly getting buffeted by the wind and getting sand blown in my eyes!

Uist really is beautiful!
