Two Year Old Cricket

We played a little bit of cricket with our nephew this afternoon. Due to our BBQ and BYC event yesterday we have a pitch mown into the lawn.

This was a very lucky photo.... For two reasons.

1. I caught the action shot of the bat in the air after a very poor attempt at hitting the ball.
2. I was rather engrossed in taking the picture so I didn't notice the trajectory of the bat. It landed within a foot of my jandal clad feet.

I think this little man is going to be some sort of sporting legend in years to come. Not many 2 year olds would be able to lift a wooden bat let alone swing/throw it.
