Wind 1 Liquid Amber 0

We had very strong winds in the upper Blue Mountains last night - enough to wake us up several times during the course of the night. When we awoke and rose this morning we were faced with the top of this Liquid Amber Tree down diagonally across the driveway at the front of the house. Later in the morning these wonderful SES (State Emergency Services) volunteers got stuck into it with chains saws and cleared the drive so we had access to the front of the house. Thankfully no damage done to people, dogs, house or vehicles :)
