Stepping stones for giants

Any hint of a reasonable sunrise and the photographers flock to the A82 looking across Rannoch Moor where Dubh Lochan and it's many tiny islands looks toward the rising sun. This morning, it was like a photographers highway, there were so many of squishing across the boggy ground.

It's well worth it for light like this and it also gives me a nice entry for the weekly blip challenge theme of STEP with the stones allowing someone with an extremely long stride to pace across the moor.

Speaking of steps and strides, just after this I headed down to Inveroran and did a training walk for the Caledonian Challenge. It was a gentle 15 miles to the Strathfillan Wigwams where the event proper will end in June. I doubt I'll be feeling as fresh then as we did today!
