hello daddy

Six day old baby Coraline (my ex-husbands's latest) 'woke up' for a few seconds while taking photos today the rest of the time she existed in a sort of twilight zone between semi alertness and sleeping.

Still so newborn it was hard to capture photos of any sort of baby plumpness and roundness, she is all flailing arms and baggy skin - but oh so sweet. Took 100s of course but this one was different than the more 'posed' captures - with her intense little stare.

Sienna has taken off to visit Grandma for a few days as we are swamped with work and we are left with the older children - who are a complete breeze to parent and are lovely and kind, I would like add (and because I know they read this!) and because of course it is true!
