Hole in the Road

A huge sink-hole developed under the Jefferson Avenue extension. As soon as it was discovered the road was shut down and repairs begun.
I walked up to see and the hole was at least 15 feet deep and 8 feet square. Huge!
A sewer pipe at the bottom had cracked and swallowed the earth above it. It was discovered when crews went to patch a "big pothole".
