paperbark tree. A native Australian tree ( real name Melaleuca quinquenervia...just found this out...and there is my Q for tomorrow!!) anyway it is a swamp loving tree that has been exported and apparently is considered a noxious weed in Florida. Here in Australia it had many uses for the indigenous population.
