Garden in the rain

Well it was a day of catching up with the housework. Luckily it's been raining so we were not tempted to go out. It's quite a refreshing rain and the garden looks like it's springing in to life.
I bought these iris, in bud, last week from B and Q and really liked the colours and the way the water droplets formed on the petals and leaves.
A little mouse has been running round the garden feeding on the sunflower seeds dropped by the birds.
For us, it's Shepherds Pie with a nice topping of cheese and fresh veggies :)
