Mute Swan

I stopped off at Needham Lake this afternoon and was spoilt for choice for what to photograph but choose this one of the swans head with all the lovely detail.

Two Mute Swans were very obliging along with some Canada Geese who were posing very nicely and honking very noisily, some grasses and catkins but they were swaying too much in the breeze (yes, breeze not gale) and the weir that is usually a trickle but this afternoon had the water thundering over it.
