In Memory of my E-Drive

An attempt to capture some of the beautiful textures and colours in my roses from Friday, this time a single rose.

Lighting is from my flash with an old plastic milk bottle over the top to try and act as a soft box and then a mid opacity layer of the bleach effect from Nik Colorefex to bring out a bit more detail.

The title is self explanatory really, my e-drive with my photos from 2011 on it expired last night whilst I was trying to back them up. The best ones will live on in a photo book I created at the time. I hope that there will be some way to save them, but I'm not optimistic :(
