La Grande Arche de la Défense

It was a lovely sunny morning in Paris so B and I took a walk around the Parc des Buttes Chaumont, a beautiful park with waterfalls, a lake, a rocky island crowned with the temple of Sibyls. We then went to Le Plateau, a contemporary art space featuring an exhibition by Alejandro Cesarco (Secondary Revision). After a further stroll to Parc de Belleville to enjoy the views of Paris we headed to La Marais for pizza at Quartino and walked home along Canal Saint-Martin.

In the evening we went round a few of the city's sights to enjoy them by night – La Grande Arche de la Défense, Arc de Triomphe, Tour Eiffel, the Seine and Place de la Concorde.
