Lost dragon's teeth

The storms have smashed the dragons teeth at Friog, Fairbourne. This was our first visit to the beach since the great storms, and the beach had changed substantially. The concrete blocks installed in World War 2 to keep German tanks out, and known locally as dragons teeth were badly knocked about. An old pill box has been completely demolished!

The sand has been totally washed away in places, revealing an ancient forest and clay with the remnants of some kind of grass growing in it. All very fascinating, and supporting the legend of Cantre'r Gwaelod.
